About the Course
We offer a two week summer camp designed for students to build skills in singing, dancing, & acting while working toward a fully staged performance. Camp runs Monday through Friday and offers focused training in vocal technique, choreography, and character development. Under the direction of the company's founder, Rhys Van Ert, students will collaborate, grow as performers, and culminate their experience with a final set of performances for an audience.
Director
Rhys Van Ert
Rhys Van Ert is a performer/director based in Rochester, MN & La Crosse, WI. He is the Founder/Executive Director of Spark Theatre Company. Rhys grew up in Rochester & is now attending Viterbo University in La Crosse pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre, with minors in both Arts Administration and Technical Theatre & Design. Rhys has directed both the 1st & 2nd annual Holiday Cabaret's, & Hadestown: Teen Edition with Spark Theatre.
